A radio newshound at last week's demo outside the Grand Committee in Edinburgh succeeded in nailing an on-street interview with an "ordinary" teacher. He was so impressed with her comments that he asked if there was another "ordinary" teacher he could speak to. Step forward May Ferries and Ian McCalman, president and vice-president respectively of the Educational Institute of Scotland.
