More light on the Prime Minister's educational aspirations. Graeme Hyslop mentioned in his FE Focus column last week that Tony Blair had enrolled at Glasgow's John Wheatley College.

This has now been confirmed by Ian Graham, the principal, who said that the PM will be "counted" in the student activity for 1998-99 and will thus help with Government funding.

As Graham says, "since his enrolment is in lifelong learning, this application will similarly be used in all subsequent years".
