Professional footballers have swapped their strips for overalls after signing up to a construction taster course run by Doncaster College

More than 20 players from Barnsley and Rotherham United football clubs have enrolled in the 10-week course, which is organised through the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).

Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele said: "It gives us some very useful skills for around the house. It also allows us to bond as a team after training and gives us a taste of another career just in case the worst happens and we get bad injuries."
