PFI go-ahead

Five schools in the Falkirk area are to be built through the private finance initiative by the Ballast Wiltshire consortium. The scheme will see, within three years, replacements for Bo'ness Academy, Larbert, Graeme and Woodlands high schools and Dawson primary. It is said to be the most ambitious schools PFI plan in Britain.
