Photographer in clover

19th January 2007 at 00:00

(Photograph) - Photography tutors at Salisbury College are celebrating after one of their students won a prestigious prize with his grassroots view of a donkey. The picture snapped up the Panasonic Amateur Photographer of the Year award for Chris Pethic, 22, and now a greetings card company wants the rights to use the image. Chris, who is in the final year of his photography degree course, is getting ready for his graduation and his prize trip to New York to stay in the Waldorf Astoria hotel. Looks like all his donkey work paid off.
