Physics - Origins of the universe

New resources will enable pupils to explore the ideas behind the world's biggest physics experiment. The Large Hadron Collider was switched on in Switzerland last week amid much media hype, with the aim of unravelling the origins of the universe.

The resources have been created by the Science and Technology Facilities Council, which funds the UK involvement in the project.
