Pimlico goes back to drawing board;In brief

PLANS to knock down and rebuild the listed Pimlico school in London using private finance are heading for trouble. The Government warned Westminster city council that it would be "unwise" to go ahead with the project without the support of its governors who narrowly voted to reject the plans last month. But ministers are also warning governors that they must come up with an alternative way to deal with the school's problems which would mean starting the project development and bidding process again.
