Plymouth cuts protest

Staff and students at Plymouth's colleges and universities were due to come together to protest against job losses and funding cuts at their institutions on Wednesday. Nova Gresham, regional official for the University and College Union (UCU), said: "This protest is our way of letting people in Plymouth know that UCU will continue to fight to protect students and jobs. Cuts have consequences."
