* In your otherwise excellent article about the new task force to integrate refugee teachers into the education service ("Plan to get Refugees Teaching", TES, June 4), you mention our London Metropolitan university course to train refugee teachers to be support workers in schools.

It lasts 24 weeks - not the eight weeks you mention. Eight weeks is the duration of placement in schools for which we provide thorough preparation.
