Postmodern conundrum

A customer at my newsagent's was handed a copy of the Times Higher Education Supplement instead of the TES. "No, I want the thick one!" he said. He was obviously in a hurry to read the high-powered and theoretically nuanced discussion of postmodernism by Dennis Hayes ("For 'postmodern' read 'anti-human'", FE Focus, March 31).
