NEVER mind a few misspellings on literacy posters (TES, January 28). The Office for Standards in Education may need help with question marks and adverbs.

The new Handbook for inspecting primary and nursery schools has the bnner heading "How good does the school work in partnership with parents". Perhaps we can expect reports starting "What the school done good..."
