WHEN you overhear teachers in the staffroom complaining that they never get help from their union, remind them to think about training courses.

I have just returned from an excellent National Union of Teachers' course or heads and deputies at Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire. The training materials were up-to-date and of a very high standard.
