pound;1.5m specialist Microsoft deal

The Government has met its target for creating 2,000 specialist schools.

There are now 2,174 specialist secondaries and computer giant Microsoft is to support a further 100 in a deal worth pound;1.5 million, Stephen Twigg, school standards minister, announced this week.
