pound;200 for teachers buying computers;News;News and opinion

The Scottish Executive has announced that teachers are to be given pound;200 towards the cost of buying their own personal computers as part of a UK scheme. Around 1,500 teachers will be supported in the first phase of the three-year programme. Application forms will reach schools before Christmas from the Scottish Council for Educational Technology. More than half of Scottish teachers already have personal computers.
