pound;90,000 headteacher sought

ONE of the country's top state schools is offering a pound;90,000 salary to find the right headteacher, nearly pound;5,000 above the national pay limit. Beauchamp College, on the outskirts of Leicester, is replacing high-profile head Maureen Cruickshank, who is retiring after more than 20 years. The school has 2,000 pupils aged 14 to 18 and is in the top 5 per cent of Britain's best-performing schools.
