* Art: make and set up a shadow puppet show. Make silhouette pictures of classmates and have a guessing game of who they are. Make collage pictures from paint producers' colour charts.

* Science: draw chalk outlines of shadows in the playground at different times of day and discuss what happens. Experiment with prisms. Find out how an eye works. Make a pinhole camera - draw the "photographs".

* Music: "I Can Sing a Rainbow", "Over the Rainbow", "The Sun Has Got His Hat On", "Sun Arise".
