Early lessons in combating bullying and anger
These materials help pupils learn the vital skills needed to resolve conflict in their lives, such as dealing with angry feelings and having strategies in place to make up after arguments.
Bullying can often be a concern among older primary pupils, and there is a collection of lesson plans for key stage 2 exploring children's understanding of what bullying is and also examining the role of the bystander (nikkiwatson). For reception children, cfention has uploaded a five-week lesson plan looking at "getting on and falling out", which includes ideas for circle time. There is also a play to use in an assembly on how to make up with friends, supplied by tonimarie797.
There are a number of resources looking at how pupils might deal with their own anger. AliciaValane has supplied a PowerPoint for KS1 pupils that looks at what anger is and things pupils can do to help them calm down. Rooneys has uploaded a resource that examines what happens to our bodies when we get angry. For younger children, there is a story called Calmy Snail, which describes routes pupils can take if they feel angry (georgetimlin).

A new series of action-mystery story books for children aged eight to 12 was published last month. Research from Triodos Bank has found that two out of three parents behave more ethically after having children. Almost half said becoming parents also made them more sensible with money.
A transport survey, personal profiles and a snail trail
For younger primary children, there is a transport survey where pupils can count how many vehicles pass by on a busy road and compare different types of vehicles. If you want to display this in the form of a graph, there is also an interactive graphing tool (both TES iboard). Pupils can display and compare the data as a tally chart, total numbers or a block graph.
Another idea for charting a graph is to use pupils' birthdays. Use the TES iboard resource to create a class chart of all the pupils' birthdays, then use it as a stimulus for questions such as, "Which month is your birthday in? Is it in the summer?" or "Whose birthday is near Christmas?"
For key stage 2, Shahira has uploaded a useful classroom activity where pupils look at the personal profiles of different people and collect information on their ages, the car they drive, the type of house they live in and how many children they have. They can then plot this information into graphs and work out means and medians. The Warriner School in Oxfordshire (username FACEonline) has supplied a resource where pupils can survey the snails in their school grounds.

Music in early years and primary is well integrated across the curriculum, and this is a collection of songs that covers many themes and subjects - from ICT to PE.
A good overall resource is sheep_tea's collection of children's songs, which includes the lyrics to many popular children's songs, such as The Animal Fair or The Bear Went Over the Mountain. If your school has a colourful parachute, lbuzzybea has uploaded a resource with songs to sing while pupils hold it and perform the actions. This is also useful for pupils with special educational needs.
Teachers introducing topics on health might like to use the song on keeping teeth clean (danwebster); this includes lyrics and links to videos that the children will enjoy.
Minibeasts is a popular theme in early years and primary, and there are plenty of songs to support this. Kate F has compiled a collection of songs and poems, as well as jokes, on all sorts of creatures, from honey ants to cicadas. There are also suggestions for how teachers might write their own songs to support what the class is studying.
