The first primary school to be built under the Government's private finance initiative will rise from the Victoria Dock on Hull's rejuvenated waterfront in two years' time, provided that a private sector contractor is chosen early in the new year. The proposed school will have 60 places - 26 of which will be for four-year-olds.
