Prince funds scholarships

The Prince of Wales has extended his patronage of a scholarships and bursaries foundation run by a private school in Powys. Christ College Brecon set up the foundation, which is now worth pound;4.1 million, in 2001. Half of the funding is being used to enhance science teaching at the school.
