No explanation is given as to the reason for the figures, ie that these included payments to the acting principal and to the principal who was on long term sick leave.
This was explained by Neil Munro on page three but the cross reference was not obvious from the table on pages 32 and 33.
The post of principal of this college was in fact advertised in your publication on June 21, 2002, at pound;65,000 plus a performance re-lated package.
The misleading presentation of remuneration brings into question the method by which this information is offered and I trust that you will review your procedures in future years.
