Psychometric tests just turn us psycho

The introduction of psychometric tests for trainee teachers ("Psychometric tests for all trainees", January 7) may well lead to a profession full of people with "good" personality traits.

Will this, in turn, lead to jibes about the "bog-standard" teacher and calls for more diversity in the system that lauds diversity and choice and maintains that one size does not fit all?
