Pupil polls opportunity

MORE than 1,500 schools have already signed up for Y Vote, a mock election run by educational charity Hansard in conjunction with BBC Newsround. The Teacher's Pack includes poll cards, ballot papers, registration and nomination forms, cue cards and wallcharts. Notes help with activities such as writing a manifesto, organising a pressure group and holding debates.

here is still time to register (registration closes mid April) and enter competitions for the best website and best campaign video.
