Puppetry festival

Scotland's annual Puppetry and Animation Festival kicks off on Monday. Now in its 20th year, it is the UK's oldest and largest performing arts event for children.

This year leading companies from Scotland, England, the Continent and the United States will present some 200 events in more than 100 venues across Scotland.

The festival runs until April 24. For more information seewww.puppetanimation.org which will be launched on Monday.
