Quality hangover

Scotland's very own educational globetrotter is John MacBeath, director of the Quality in Education Centre. His travels occasionally take him to Glasgow where he was to be found last week as a member of the Government's action group on school standards.

As the meeting was settling down to a discussion of improvements to pupils' literacy, a weary MacBeath was heard to comment: "My heid's wasted." See thay communication skills.
