Race for the prize

9th October 2009 at 01:00

Teachers in Hampshire are to be invited to help judge the UK Literacy Agency Children's Book Awards. A long-list of 22 books, including Stickman by Julia Donaldson and a Little Guide to Trees by Charlotte Voake, has been drawn up. The UKLA Children's Book Awards are national prizes conferred by education professionals. They are unique as they are the only national awards selected by teachers. They will be presented at a wine reception at the University of Winchester on July 8, 2010.
