There's a glitzy touch of the gameshow about Lucky Dip Maths.

Two hundred question cards provide problems in six areas of key stage 2 numeracy. The cards go into a black bag and are pulled out at random. If children can answer the first question, they can go on to gain a bonus point on a related non-mathematical subject. Thus, a calculation about numbers of ice creams turns into a science challenge about temperature.

Children can play the game in teams or brave teachers can take on the entire class. Lucky Dip Maths costs pound;19.99 + VAT from Philip Tacey, North Way, Andover SP10 5BA
