(Photograph) - The latest chapter in the drive to encourage parents to read at home with their children opened at Arthurlie nursery in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, on Monday with the launch of a radio and press campaign boosted by authors such as Catherine McPhail (right) who will act as reading champions. There will be a small grants scheme to stimulate local projects and two home reading co-ordinators to head the initiative. Photograph by ASHLEY COOMBESATOM
