Film distributor Artificial Eye is offering TES teacher readers the chance to see an internationally acclaimed new film by Bertrand Tavernier at a preview in London. "It All Starts Today" ("Commence Aujord 'hui") is set in a nursery school in an ex-mining town in northern France where the headteachers struggles with some success, against depressing conditions.

The film is based on the experiences of the director's son-in-law, Dominique Sampiero, a teacher who also co-wrote the film.

Twelve pairs of free tickets are available for a special preview screening on July 8 at 6pm at Mr Young's Preview theatre, 14 D'Arby Street, London, W1. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. To apply for a pair of tickets, call Artificial Eye on 0171 240 5353.
