On the record

2nd March 2007 at 00:00
Audio recordings have been produced by the BBC as a starting-point for classroom discussion in PSHE and citizenship lessons.

The recordings, aimed at nine to 11-year-olds, can be downloaded online.

They include topics such as the environment, media, government and crime.

Each episode includes a drama in two sections - vox pops in which young people offer their own thoughts and notes for teachers with guidance and links to other multi-media material.
