YAHOO!, Compaq, Camelot, HSBC and KPMG have signed up for Access IT!, a scheme that aims to provide 100,000 used computers to schools within three year. Pentium standard computers, once destined to be scrapped or sold off cheaply, will be revamped and offered to London schools for pound;75 each.
