Reid steps up at West Lothian

Kate Reid is the new director of education and cultural services in West Lothian, succeeding Roger Stewart, who has moved to a similar post in Fife.

Mrs Reid has covered as acting director and lately has been responsible for secondaries and educational developments in the directorate. She is a former head of Armadale Academy.
