It was quite a week at St Kenneth's primary, Greenock. The school picked up pound;1,000 for coming second in the Scottish Schools Ethos Network awards but of more interest to pupils was a visit from the mounted police. "Are they allowed to touch the horses?" a teacher asked. Told yes, the children applauded.
