Reluctant readers

Friday Forever is the latest title in the Close LookQuick Look series, published by Barrington Stoke, which specialises in books for dyslexic, disenchanted and under-confident readers. It is a lively, well-illustrated comedy aimed at readers aged eight and above. The accompanying photocopiable resources can be used with individuals or small groups and provide a range of differentiated reading, writing, speaking and listening tasks relating to each chapter. Activities are linked to the National Framework for Teaching English and are mapped out in the teachers'

booklet.
