THE EFFECTS OF OFSTED ON PRIMARY HEADS

For his PhD thesis, Edward Winfield of King Alfred's College, Winchester, is researching the levels of stress suffered by heads because of increased and changed demands imposed on them since the 1988 Education Reform Act, particularly OFSTED inspections.
