There seems to be needless confusion on what education research projects have been undertaken in this country. Sally Tomlinson's letter (TES, October 17) omits the key listing.

The National Foundation for Educational Research produces a register of research, available to all on paper and electronically.

Those interested can access the register through the NFER or directly through the Internet (http:wwwa.bdp.itbancheeudifor.html).
