Book The Folens History textbooks by Aaron Wilkes, with Technology, War and Identities: a World Study After 1900 (Folens, pound;8.99) particularly good for Year 9.

Website The Learning Curve is a useful website for all key stages. Visit www.learningcurve.gov.uk. Key stage 4

Book Medicine for Edexcel by Ian Dawson and Ian Coulson (Hodder Murray, Pounds 12.99) is a solid, if largely undifferentiated, text for the Schools History Project course.

Website www.activehistory. co.uk includes useful GCSE topics plus a "fling the teacher" game.
