* The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment has a special education section. The website has ideas for resources and events around designbuilding projects and downloads for information and a design magazine: www.cabe-education.org.uk; tel 020 7960 2400.

* The Scottish Executive has produced several documents on school design, including School Design Building our Future: Scotland's school estate (2003), downloadable from the website www.scotland.gov.uk.
