Results of those in care improve

CHILDREN in Leicester care homes are achieving better results than ever. Of 50 leaving care last year, 27 per cent - a nine point gain - passed at least one GCSE at grades A* to G, with one pupil achieving five GCSEs at grades A* to C. The council says it is on track to gain a pound;625,000 Government handout for hitting targets for children in care.
