Retakes are on

GREECE: The government has caved in to demands to allow high school students to take September retakes of their pre-final-year June exams. Under existing rules those who failed would have had to repeat the class or leave school. The rule change came after high numbers failed this year - 7.5 per cent on average but much higher in mountain and border areas, islands, and under-developed regions. Full story:
