Riddle of the missing editor;Letter

18th June 1999 at 01:00
WHILE appreciating the very positive review by Sian Hughes of The New Exeter Book of Riddles (Friday Magazine, June 4), I would be grateful for the chance to rectify two omissions.

The book has two editors: my co-editor is Kevin Crossley-Holland, whose riddle translations from the original Exeter Book make him a particularly appropriate choice. Readers may also like to know that the anthology is illustrated by Simon Drew.
