A choral group that promotes music to young people is to feature in a television documentary.

The Voces Cantabiles Music Foundation will appear in the forthcoming "Do Something Different" series on BBC2, which encourages children to take up new hobbies.

Members of Voces Cantabiles will be given just five days to train members of a teenage rock band and teach them all about classical music. The band, called Barbed Wire, will then perform in a classical concert.

The programme, which is in two parts, has been scheduled for broadcast in the week beginning July 9.
