Over 300 rowers, including school rowers, competed in the Scottish Indoor Grand Prix at Motherwell's Dalziel High at the end of last month.

Pupils from the host school and Holyrood Secondary in Glasgow took part in two-, three- and four-minute races as part of the Scottish Amateur Rowing Association's Totally Rowing programme for schools.

Table tennis Chris Main (Ardrossan Academy) and Iona West (Largs Academy) were the under-16 winners in the North Ayrshire Schools Championships, in which 45 players took part. Both players go forward to the national finals in Perth next month.
