Bianca Williams of George Heriot's won the junior women's title at the inaugural Scottish indoor rowing championships, held in Renfrew. She finished 25 seconds ahead of her nearest rival, winning the 2,000m race in 7 minutes 32.4 seconds.

The championships involved competitors on rowing machines and were such a success that they may become an annual event.
