Rubbish games

10th February 2006 at 00:00
We recently installed an activity trail made from recycled plastic. We want to ensure our emphasis on outdoor play at foundation stage is carried on in key stage 1 and beyond.

The school is part of lots of recycling schemes and the trail will also be linked to the Healthy Schools scheme. It will be used in art, creative writing, drama and for language development. But the main thing is, it's great fun!

Brian Beresford Headteacher, Whalley C of E Primary School, Lancashire
