Run way

29th February 2008 at 00:00

Ages 8 to 11

Pupils can revise key facts for topics you are covering in this warm-up activity before PE.

Put labels around the hall with answers related to your revision choice. After stretches, ask questions or give a clue and pupils run to the correct answers.

For science food chains you might have labels such as predator, prey, producer and consumer. Then say, "Something that eats other animals" and pupils run to predator. Last to reach the label or answer incorrectly is out.

After their warm-up, pupils continue with their normal PE lesson.
