(Photograph) - Safe haven: pictured above are two of the 13 abandoned disabled children currently living with elderly couple Zhang Wenxuan and his wife Pu Minjun rest in an apartment in Puyang, China. The couple have cared for 76 such children since December 1997. More than two out of three of the disabled or sick children in their custody have died due to lack of adequate supporting funds from local authorities. The area has no orphanage or home for abandoned children
