Sam's castle

For once, a Government reception not aimed at the great and the good. "Welcome to my castle," Sam Galbraith, the schools supremo, told teachers who had done their bit for excellence in Sottish education. Among his many responsibilities is Historic Scotland which looks after Edinburgh's most famous landmark. We trust it, too, is pushing standards ever upwards.
