Sauce from the OFSTED goose?

15th June 2001 at 01:00
You report that Chris Woodhead has resigned from a PR company ("too busy") and that his employers at the Daily Telegraph may not be happy with his value for money (TES, June 8).

His "enormous amount of work" is cited as a reason for his low profile. While at OFSTED, did he no dismiss such reasons when offered by hard-pressed teachers and infer professional inadequacy?

Perhaps he should seek a rest in a classroom - your jobs pages seem full of opportunities.
