School blues

Many teachers will be able to identify with the feelings experienced by Diego Palacios after Christmas - he had enjoyed his break and did not want to go back to school. But hopefully few will resort to the same extreme measures. The 10-year-old from Monterrey in Mexico was so desperate not to return that he stuck his hand to his bed with industrial-strength glue. Paramedics had to free him while he watched cartoons.
