School corridors rule

"I know that schools learn best from each other and that the secret to success is in the corridors of our schools not the corridors of Whitehall."

So said then Education Secretary Estelle Morris last year, claiming this was the reason why her department had set up its advanced schools website - to outline the DfES rationale for the scheme and to give leading secondary schools space to share good practice. See the fruits at
